I Got a Preorder

On October, 28 I sat outside a Toysrus all night to make sure I recieved a Playstation 3. I went with my Dad, and 2 friends. We arrived at the door of the store just after noon the day before. There were already two other people in line ahead of us that had been there since 9 that morning. It was not so boring the first few hours, but we did not bring enough things to keep us occupied for that long. Then after the sun went down it was really annoying because it was cold and hard to do anything but sit around. We also forgot about the time change which added another hour to our long wait. After all was said and done we had waited in line for 23 long hours to recieve a piece of paper that said we could get a PS3 on the day they are released.

PS3 Games

Sony is planning on releasing multiple games on the launch day of the Playstation 3. The have also made sure that some of their best selling games will be available to gamers that want to rip open their system right away. Some of these games are Madden 2007, Tony Hawk's Project 8, and Call of Duty 3. Releasing top selling games on launch day is very important to any video game company because they want people to be looking forward to play the games as soon as possible. This means that they sell more systmes and games sonner which also takes business away from other competing companies. They made a smart choice by releasing Madden 2007 with the launch because just about almost every gamer I know is a very big fan of all of the Madden game. Sony is hoping that their wide selection of games will help sell many systmes. Although it has good games for the release many people are still not sure if its worth it because of haow much the system costs.
